“Dear Ai, I am looking for festival information in Vancouver. Do you know any good festival I should attend? Also I would like to join festivals as a volunteer, do you know who I should contact? Thank you. “Lisa – Taiwan

“Hi, Lisa
Thank you for your question. I love May to October in Vancouver! The weather is excellent and there are many fun festivals in town. As you said, most festivals are looking for volunteers who can help to set up a booth or sell food and beverages. In return you are provided a special gift like festival T-shirts, a free event pass (so you can enjoy watching the event!) or invited to an event party! Volunteers are necessary to support festivals and sometimes 1000 volunteers help an event!!

I made a list of festivals in Vancouver between June to September. You can get festival information from the websites I provided and download the volunteer applications, fill them out and send them to their volunteer coordinator. Please contact festivals directly for information.
